The Department of Statistics, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, announces the opening of one tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, beginning August  2010 or March 2011. Candidates should have a doctoral degree in Statistics or a related field and exhibit research potential and a commitment to teaching. Appointees will be expected to pursue a vigorous research program and to teach three undergraduate/graduate courses (only two during the first two years.
