- Call for nominations to the EURO Distinguished Service Medal 2009 (EDSM09). The EDSM awarded for recognition of distinguished service to the Association of European OR Societies (EURO) and to profession of OR. This new EURO award which will be conferred for the first time at the EURO Conference 2009 in Bonn, Germany. The EURO member national societies Presidents and the EURO Working Groups Coordinators are kindly invited to send the EDSM jury nominations on possible award recipients.
- Call for nominations EURO Gold Medal 2009.To emphasize the European flavour of the Award, all societies are strongly urged not to propose a candidate from heir own country. The jury members would appreciate receiving nominations with the items of information listed on the form called “Nomination for 2009 EURO Gold Medal” before 31 December 2008.
