The Department of Economic, Financial and Actuarial Mathematics in the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Barcelona invites applications for a tenure-eligible lecturer position. The international call for applications will open from September 2nd to September 30th of 2019.

For those candidates doing research in mathematical economics and game theory, there will be the opportunity to carry out research activities in the framework of the group Game Theory and Assignment Markets (GTAM),, which is part of the research institute Barcelona Economic Analysis Team (BEAT), The goal of this group is to promote research excellence in all aspects of game theory and to contribute with applications to decision-making problems of our society. On the other hand, those candidates with research interest in financial and actuarial mathematics will have the opportunity to carry out research activities in the framework of the Actuarial and Financial Modelling (MFA) group and the Chair ICEA-UB in insurance and pension funds.
