We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Lecturer (level B) in the discipline of biostatistics to make a significant contribution to our teaching and research programs. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Lecturer with a strong interest in biostatistics to continue their professional development with a school renowned for its high quality research and teaching.

In this role you will:
• teach introductory and more advanced biostatistics to postgraduate students enrolled in degrees in biostatistics, public health and clinical epidemiology, using both face to face and on-line delivery
• take on responsibility for unit of study coordination
• conduct research in biostatistics, public health or clinical epidemiology, including presentations and peer-reviewed publications
• supervise Master of Biostatistics and other postgraduate coursework students’ research projects.

To succeed in securing this role you will have:
• a higher degree in biostatistics or applied statistics
• experience teaching biostatistics or applied statistics
• good English language communication skills
• the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
• evidence of publications in peer-reviewed journals
• experience with online teaching (desirable).
